The Hamilton Outdoor Water Polo League is the only outdoor Water Polo League in The City of Hamilton. The league runs out of Lower Lyons Club Outdoor Pool in Ancaster Ontario and is for boys and girls 16 and under. The league is facilitated by Ancaster Water Polo.
The HOWPL is a outdoor Water Polo league which runs similar to other minor sports.
Each weeks two hour practice is divided into 4 sections, 30 minutes of swimming skills, 30 minutes of water polo drills, 30 minutes of dry land training and 30 minutes of game play.
Due to the overwhelming response from our inaugural season we have doubled our Pool time and have split our age group in half.
The summer season for 2017 starts on the July 8th, 9th weekend.
12 and under co-ed athletes play on Sundays starting either at 8:00 or 8:30 depending on game time.
13 and over co-ed athletes play on Saturday’s starting at either 8:00 or 8:30 depending on game time.
$75.00 for the summer includes a t-shirt.
